Shine Like the Sun Introduction to the Electronic Version This is an electronic version of the book Shine Like the Sun: Lustre-painted and Associated Pottery from the Medieval Middle East, to be published by Mazda Press, Costa Mesa, California, and the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto; with a publication date currently set as in 2002, inshallah. It has been put on-line primarily for the use of my students, so they may study the materials therein at their appropriate convenience. For the use of my students this work now includes two further appendices not present in Shine Like the Sun, one on Timurid pottery, and another on Yemeni pottery. Given that these are all copyrighted works which are under a password-protected file, it would be appreciated if the url and particularly the password were not made common knowledge.
